Step by Step Process on how to make a Homemade recipe in Myfitness Pal:
Step 1: Weigh the bowl, pan, or pot you will be using in GRAMS (write this number down)
Step 2: Click More—> My Meals, Recipes & Food
Step 3: Click “Create a Recipe” ——Name the recipe —— Enter “1” In the serving spot:
Step 4: Click “Insert Ingredients Manually”
Step 5: Weigh in grams and insert ALL ingredients you will be using in the recipe with each ingredient amount!
Step 6: Mix all your ingredients together, cook like normal!
Step 7: Weigh out the WHOLE pan with all the ingredients inside the pan, THEN subtract the total grams of the pan from the new total!
Step 8: Enter THIS number (from step 6) into the serving size Ex. Pan = 600 grams and my total was 2200 grams (2200-600=1600) Enter 1600 in the SERVINGS spot (where you initially put 1):
Step 9: Click “save and log”
Step 10: Once it is logged, take out the desired amount in gram and log it in the “number of servings” slot:
